Welcome to Legacy Labs, breeders of AKC Labrador Retrievers. We are a small "Hobby Kennel", located in Kapowsin Washington, that is dedicated to breeding top quality Labrador Retriever puppies for Field Trial, Hunt Test, Gun Dogs and all around family pets.

     We believe the Labrador Retriever is one of the best all around dogs available.  We focus our breeding program on producing Labrador Retriever puppies that have a great desire to retrieve and to please.  We also believe good temperament and disposition are equally important to the over all completeness of the Labrador Retriever.  These goals are accomplished by detailed pedigree and disposition research on sire and dam of a potential breeding.  Also, puppies are born in our home and are part of our family until it is time to be part of yours.  This helps to produce a well rounded Labrador Retriever Puppy.

     We breed our Labrador Puppies specifically for the purpose of Field Trials, Hunt Tests and hunting.  For that reason, as a rule,  we breed from top field trial lines.  While we hope our puppies will go to "working" homes, we realize that not everyone is involved in these activities.  Many of our "extended families" are not competing or working homes but they do provide a loving, active and secure home, and we are happy to place our Labrador Puppies there.

   We have shipped puppies to; Alaska, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Texas, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, Florida and Connecticut and can ship to just about anywhere in the U.S. as long as weather conditions are safe for the puppy.
